How to convert clothing sizes

Size systems differ between countries, and the same number in EU and US means different things. The tool lets you find the equivalent instantly without memorising formulas — just click your size.

EU (European)
The European system is used in most continental European countries. It starts at 32 for women and 44 for men, based on body measurements in centimetres.
US (American)
The US system differs from the European: women's US 4 equals EU 36, US 6 equals EU 38 and so on. The gap is smaller for men's clothing but still exists.
UK (British)
The UK system is close to the US system but shifted by 4 units for women's clothing. UK 8 = US 4. For shoes the difference between UK and EU is around 33–34 points.
IT and FR
Italian and French systems have their own numbering. IT for women starts at 36, FR at 34. Both are used in luxury fashion, so knowing how to convert them is essential.
